Claudia Kalis
Studio III is the New York–based practice of Dutch-Portuguese interior designer Claudia Kalis. Her work is rooted in warm minimalism; where structure meets softness, color meets restraint, and every space is composed with both intimacy and clarity.
Claudia studied set design at the Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp, with a minor in documentary filmmaking, before launching her design career at Charles Schwartz Interiors in Manhattan. The influence of both disciplines runs through everything she makes: displaying a trained eye for narrative and light, and finding the emotional weight of a room.
With over two decades of experience across apartments, townhouses, and vacation homes in New York, Miami, and Mexico City, she works in close partnership with clients and contractors — carefully balancing functionality, beauty, and cost-consciousness at every stage. Each project begins with a simple premise: that a space should tell the story of the people who live in it; told through detail, craft, and genuine collaboration.
Available for residential and boutique hospitality projects.
